The Rise Insight: Welcome to The Rise Insight, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book. Author: My readers are appreciating my work whole-heartedly. Before publishing the novel I was too anxious about the responses, but soon after the launch I started getting righteous replies and it eventually raised my moral enough to plan for my next novel. The Rise Insight: What encourages you to become an Author? Author: I have always been tilted towards writing. During my school days, I used to participate in essay writing competitions and that was like achieving the whole universe for me. When I grew older, I started reading novels, and I don’t know exactly when, but the desire of writing my own novel started to spark inside me. The Rise Insight: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature. Author: Talking about writing, I like to pen down in numerous fields, but yes, fiction is one of my favourites, and my debut novel ‘Is it too late?’ is the proof of that. I have always loved romantic stories with tinch of drama and sorrow to it. The Rise Insight: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow! Author: There is a long list of my best-loved writers. And amongst them, Amish Tripathi, Durjoy Datta, Arundhati Roy, Gayle Forman are the top ones. I have learned a lot by reading their work and about their journey in the field of authoring. The Rise Insight: The title seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it. Author: It didn’t take great efforts in deciding the title, ‘Is it too late?’. It automatically popped up in my mind while I was on the very initial chapters of my novel. It’s never too late if you are truly in love, and you’ll get it by your own after reading the book. The Rise Insight: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career. Author: I have written a number of articles and poems, and some of my work has also been published in anthologies and on online websites. If you are referring to something huge, then I haven’t achieved that yet, but literally hoping earnestly. The Rise Insight: What is your current goal in writing as a career? How do you see your future in writing? Author: As I told you before, writing has always been my prior hobby. ‘Pile of books with my name engraved on their covers’, is literally the dream I am currently living with. The Rise Insight: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects. Author: I am entering in the field of authoring with ‘Is it too late?’ and for now it’s the only book written by me. But in coming future, the number will positively jump from one to two, as I’ve started working on my next one. The Rise Insight: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time? Author: Indian writing in 21st century has become a lot simpler than before. The traditional style is much formal and has changed to a great extent, as the modern way of writing is much realistic and informal. The Rise Insight: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors? Author: When I was done with the writing part, I started to search about publishing houses and their cost effectiveness. In one of my searches, I found about Evincepub Publishing, and the rest you all know. They made the publishing so easy that my wish of holding ‘Is it too late?’ has now come true. To all the aspiring authors, I would like to say that, “you’ve started to write just because you love to, so don’t ever stop your pen”.
