“A quality education gives all students knowledge they need to be economically productive, give them a voice, build long term sustainability, participate to free and stable societies, and improve individual well-being.” The needed learning objectives vary depending on the setting, but by the conclusion of the education cycle, they must contain threshold levels of reading and numeracy, fundamental scientific knowledge, and life skills such as illness awareness and prevention. Throughout this process, capacity building to raise the efficiency of educators and other stakeholders in education is critical.
