Naxal Attacks in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh – 22 Killed and 31 Seriously Injured – Latest Updates

Following an exchange of fire between troops and Naxals in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, at least 22 security personnel were killed and 31 were seriously injured. According to the Chhattisgarh Police, at least 12 Maoists were killed and 16 were wounded in the gun fight that followed the ambush. In the deadliest Naxal assault in four years, one soldier is still suspected to be missing.

The New Social Media Code, “Information Technology Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code Rules,” was announced recently. The code is a joint effort of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Ministry of Information Broadcasting. These are the guidelines for using social media (Whatsapp, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and the OTT (Over the top) platform for entertainment.
