ToggleAbout the Book
Formula For Crime takes readers deep into a world where high-speed racing intersects with dangerous criminal empires. The story follows Raymond, a sharp and determined lawyer who discovers that his client, Lions Star Capital, is far from an ordinary financial firm. Behind its polished corporate façade lies a front for The Draconists, a ruthless syndicate using the glamorous world of Formula One to launder millions of dollars.
As the plot unfolds, the novel reveals a dark underbelly hidden beneath the speed, glamour, and prestige of international racing circuits. The Draconists’ network stretches across borders and industries, linking illegal arms trade, narcotics, and massive financial corruption.
The tension intensifies as the looming 2008 financial crisis threatens to expose the syndicate’s global money trail. Intelligence agencies begin tracing suspicious transactions moving through shell companies, governments, and war-torn regions. To confront the threat, the CIA forms Sentinel, a covert team of spies, soldiers, and hackers tasked with dismantling the criminal empire.
However, the deeper Raymond becomes involved in the investigation, the more blurred the lines between justice, loyalty, and survival become. The novel ultimately challenges readers with a powerful realization: every fortune carries a hidden cost, and every victory may come at someone else’s loss.

About the Author
Aditya Aurora is a Chartered Accountant from India who has spent the past decade working with multinational organizations around the world. Despite a demanding professional life, he has maintained a deep connection with writing.
His creative journey began in 2015 with a simple yet inspiring habit—writing daily quotes on a whiteboard in his office based on random words suggested by colleagues. This practice gradually evolved into a creative outlet that allowed him to explore thoughts and emotions through words.
In November 2017, he launched his Instagram platform @the_white_board_series, where writing became both a form of personal expression and a means of connecting with others. He has also written a song titled The Roads, which remains a personal project.
Formula For Crime marks his official debut as a novelist. The idea for the story came to him in January 2025 during a flight to the Cayman Islands. Despite working demanding 65-hour weeks, he completed the manuscript within a few months, demonstrating that passion and determination can transform ideas into reality.
Born in Bombay, Aditya is an avid fan of Formula One racing. He passionately supports Ferrari and admires seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, who remains one of his greatest inspirations. Outside writing, Aditya enjoys go-karting, karaoke, and traveling.
