Helloo, to all my readers. I know, I took so long to write something which is related to my core writing, self-love. I don’t know who need to hear this but it’s a small message to all of the friends’ around in the world, if you are going through a hard time or had a really bad day, if you feel of giving up on your own dreams. Then this message is for you, my friends. Sometimes life give us really unexpected chapters, which we never wanted to read but we have to each and every line and that’s what life is we don’t know what the next chapter will bring but can hope for the better future is something that will make us wise for tomorrow otherwise our past will ruin us. Just believe me or not but the truth is that we hide our real self in the voice of others, You and I we all lost our real self in the sounds of others. First, we have to accept this fact that nobody is perfect in this world nobody and we deserve to love ourself so much that it radiates from very being. The moment I realised, I saved everyone’s dream except my own and now I don’t even remember what I wanted so badly. And gradually I have felt a change in my own behaviour and the people around me. They started hating me and I started hiding me or I should say my real me. But I have to accept this reality that everyone cannot love me, because when there’s love, there’s hate we are not away from it. Not everyone loves me, and I have to be fine that no matter what they think about me. And after spending few years I have realised this one thing very well that when we love ourself especially deeply, we fill the void that we are often stuck waiting for others to fill instead. Our love is complete in our own hands. I have realised that when we truly love our self than it will fill the voids within us that we don’t even know it existed. I know its not an easy journey for you neither for me. My start was writing, painting and doing my own stuffs, my one and only dream and strength that protected me so far. Its just a small reminder to all of you, if you are having a hard time and you can’t take this burden anymore then this message is just for you, my friend. Don’t feel you are alone and you can’t deal with this situation, you can and you will. We never walk alone, and I have full faith is our self, in our generation and coming generation that yes, we can, and we will.
Self-Love : Priorities your happiness first
self love
Self-Love : Every day is a new day
We have already discussed in our previous few lessons that if you are having a hard time don’t need to stretch yourself too much just keep working on your-self cause our everyday brings us new challenges and new life. And it’s okay if you don’t feel like actively doing something to make the sadness go away, something like exercising or distracting yourself. It’s okay to sometimes just take it easy until the pain eases enough for you to go about your day again. Don’t be afraid to take it slow n days you need it. It’s may not be exactly where you want to be, but every day you are doing your best to get there. Just forget everything and trust in your journey. You are on your way to someplace beautiful. Same as its totally fine to cancel plans when you feel like you need to recharge yourself or simply when you don’t feel like it and don’t feel you have enough energy for it. Well sometime people might not understand and see it as rude but need to care for your mental health first. Don’t push yourself in uncomfortable situations just because you feel like you are obligated to do so. Trust you can always start again, every day is a new day, every moment in the new moment, just clean up your socials, make new playlists, donate clothes you no longer wear. Try out a new recipe, move to a new city and make a new friend, pick up new hobbies you never thought of before. There is no limit to how many times you can press the rest button. It’s okay to change and start over. You don’t need anyone’s permission to do it. Trust me trust in the process you are doing your best every day, know yourself more. because once you accept yourself entirely no one can use your flaws against you. Be at peace with yourself, and you’ll be at peace with world around you. Stop convincing yourself you’re wasting your life away. Take a moment and appreciate all that you are, have been and who you are to become. you have come so far and have done so well.
Self-love Comparison (most poisonous element) Lesson 5: Srishty Verma
Now it’s time to talk about very familiar term for today’s generation is comparison. Which we normally do with ourselves and sometimes our family and friends also do for us. Now a days competition among each other is quite higher than before, because pressure of getting and maintain first position is really important for today’s generations. Maybe that’s why sometime some of us try to compare ourselves, our parents with our classmate, our teachers with other students, relatives, friends and almost everyone. But is comparison with others really good for our mental health? And the answer is No. Comparison shows that we are searching or trying to get rid from the reality. It’s also the enemy of creativity. Yesterday, I was reading an article about why you should stop comparing yourself to others and it says: “if comparing is how you evaluate your worth, you will always be losing. In this game of life, you will never reach a point where you are better than others in every way and why would you want to be.” Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar once said: your comparison with your own performance is better, is healthy, but if you start comparing with others in all probability, you will feel jealous. We normally feel that comparison make us better, but in reality, every comparison brings us suffering. Buddha says whenever we compare ourselves to others we are collecting suffering. We should allow ourselves to grow, without the pressure of comparing ourselves with others. In spite of comparison, we need to understand that every individual is different from each other, every person struggle is different and there is no comparison between moon and sun, they both shine in their own time. And there are few causes of comparing ourselves. It damaging our self-respect. It can cause depression. Self-doubt. Lack of confidence. And so, on Its death of joy. These are few causes of comparing ourselves with others. When we compare our life to someone else’s, it’s usually the result of us not feeling good about ourselves. Let it be live each day like it’s your last just put 100% in very things. Today’s reminder: Personality begins where comparison leave, be unique.
Self-love (effort part 2) – Srishty Verma
Effort (A second step towards yourself) lesson2: Last week we’ve learned to have faith in ourselves, to have faith in the process but now it’s time to take our second step to put some effort on it. There is one article that says” We all know that some people have faith but they don’t put any effort, while some people put the effort but they don’t have the proper faith”.
