Author Feature : Mohd Auyoob Mir Author of the Book “Moonstruck”
The Rise Insight: Welcome to The Rise Insight, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book. Mohd Auyoob Mir: Thank You for your best wishes. I got the appreciation from my readers when I uploaded posters of my debut book Moonstruck through social media platforms. I cannot explain how much overzealous I was while writing the manuscript of this book, I did often ride on the clouds to chase the sunlight or visit the unknown amazing lands in search of pearls. Furthermore, I am truly thankful to my friends and the team of Evincepub Publishing who remained with me on this journey. The Rise Insight: What encourages you to become an Author? Mohd Auyoob Mir: A brief but influenced incident of pain is enough to make you something else that you had not thought of. In one way or the other, you try to console your wounded heart, and I do console it by using the pen to stitch its wounds. In other words, I can say the inner frying pain of my heart has drawn a road for me and has made me an author. The Rise Insight: What are your favourite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature. Mohd Auyoob Mir: The favourite topic of my writing is my own forlorn heart. It knows its way to reach the goal after being wet under the quilts of pain. In addition, It can’t stay on one particular topic of writing, as its goal is to change the directions. I do confirm, all the areas of literature are interested, but I have my deep sympathy on the topics like unrequited love, hypocrisy, social evil, motherly love etc. The Rise Insight: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow! Mohd Auyoob Mir: There are many writers in English literature who inspired me by their thoughts. I am particularly inspired by William Butler Yeats, John Keats, Robert Browning, Matthew Arnold, Keki N. Daruwalla, Nissim Ezekiel etc who do create the magic upon readers through every line of the poems. I cannot explain the zenith of imagination within the poems of above-mentioned poets, as their poems has already sown such seeds onto the hearts of readers. The Rise Insight: The title of your book seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it. Mohd Auyoob Mir: Obviously, the title is different and catchy. After completing the manuscript of my debut collection, the problem of the title raised in my mind, and I read the whole collection five times for sorting out the problem. On getting the idea, I decided to name it, “Moonstruck — Love Birds are Made to Carry the Pain”. The idea about the title came into my mind after reading the particular poem, “Mr Moonstruck” in my debut collection. It took me 10 days to decide the title for my debut book. The Rise Insight: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career. Mohd Auyoob Mir: From time to time, I write the articles for newspapers. I have also got success in publishing some of my poems through online journals. Initially, I was reluctant to publish something, but later on The Merciful Lord put the flame of Courage into my heart and I got success. The result of success came to me in the shape of my debut book, Moonstruck. I hope the readers will enjoy its content. The Rise Insight: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing? Mohd Auyoob Mir: I desire to capture every moment through my writing and draw it before the world of readers, who will know the real pain of observation, through the every line of my writing. I hope the readers will enjoy my future writing. It is necessary to mention here that the time decides it better than the prediction of someone. The Rise Insight: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects. Mohd Auyoob Mir: In the present time, I am busy in the manuscript of my novel, its half content is completed, and I think it will take few months to complete. After completing the novel, I will work on the 2nd book of my poetry collection. The Rise Insight: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time? Mohd Auyoob Mir: Indian writing in the 21st century has got success to free it from the tea cups of England, here it is necessary to quote, Dr S P Dhanavel, Professor of English, Anna University, Chennai, he states, “The 21st century has proved to the world that English literature is no longer the sole province of the imperial England. Although English literature started and flourished in England, it has gone on to sow the seeds of creativity in English in other parts of the world. Interestingly, the English people themselves paved the way for the unexpected developments that we witness today. When the English colonizers went to America, they began to write their literature of the Americas. Similarly, those English men and women who went to Australia began the process of new literature called Australian literature. And so is the case with Canada, India, and Africa.” The Rise Insight: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors? Mohd Auyoob Mir: All the creative works demand hard work and consistency. The more you passionate to it, the more it is easy for you. Simply, behind every chapter of success, there is the ink of struggle. I convey to budding authors, be consistent

Book Review Hybrids: Clash of The Elementals By Prisha Dixit
When life presents unimagined circumstances and unpredictable situations, the undiscovered side of a human personality comes to light. This could be for both the positive and the negative, but as it is considered that untold circumstances bring untold reactions. “Hybrids: Clash of The Elementals” by Prisha Dixit is one such book in this regard. As interesting as the title is, the book does indeed present a plot which rich with hybridity and depicts a unique story altogether. The blurb of the book is enough to get a reader hooked on it. It is interesting to see how the author uses a few words but builds up an entire universe that both suffices the imagination of the readers and excites it at the same time. The readers would notice the author using the term “annoying twin sister” and understand its significance because it is so relatable in a sibling relationship. This is from where the readers develop a connection with the book. As a result of this, the readers give all their attention from the beginning to the very last pages of the book. The plot is woven in a fascinating and intriguing manner at the same time. It is full of suspense, mystery, plot twists, and anticipation of what is going to happen next. At the same time, the mystery behind the unpredictable nature of life and how it can change the situation into something else permanently lurk in the background. This makes the book all the more relatable and gives it the necessary humanitarian touch. “Hybrids: Clash of The Elementals” is one such book that would give a unique kind of experience to all readers after they have completed it. Dixit writes a book that is vast and massive in its content and yet concentrated in terms of the book-length. At the same time, the readers would find a lot to gain from this book; it would give them a sneak peek into a lot of different things, things that belong to the fantasy world, a journey into the untold world, a journey of self-discovery and simultaneously, discovering the strength of human bonds. Towards Chapter 4, the readers may be reminded of Percy Jackson and how they had to fight off the monster before entering Camp Half-Blood. There are many mythological elements that the author uses in the book. The readers observe and admire the bond between the twins. Battling against all odds and displaying a united front, the author shows the bond in beauty, purity, and it’s not being tainted by the evil ways of the world and at times entertaining too, especially with Jackson and Selene in the picture. While the novel is serious and hovers between life and death in the novel, there is also a hint of comedy and entertainment in the other level. So, there is no space to be bored with this one. Another unique feature of “Hybrids” is the technique that Dixit uses in writing the book. She hands over the narrative to the central characters, and they speak for themselves. They become the showrunners of their lives, and the author abstains from pulling strings. This helps them appear more individualistic and true to life. Since they speak to the readers directly, the lines between a reader and character are blurred, and hence the readers feel closer to them as a person. The plot is constructed in a manner where the story is quite consuming, unfolds at a fast pace, and keeps the readers hooked throughout. Through the narrative technique, characters, and the plot, the author introduces her writing to the readers, and they would be left hoping for more. Although there are many things in this book, the author has woven them in such a way where they blend in and make the book a great read. There is a little bit of everything in this book. Mystery, suspense, excitement, fear, worry, being united by blood are just a few things among the bunch that the author packs up the book with. Also, The writing style of the author is very clear and straightforward. It can be understood by anyone out there and can be very well perceived. She uses a language that can be understood by readers of all age groups, and hence the book can be read by all readers, irrespective of their ages. The chapters are short, crisp, and leave the readers in suspense and wonder. This adds up and enhances the theme of suspense and reinforces the excitement in the readers. Overall, the book can be read by all those who are looking for some refreshing and new content for reading and also those who want to have an experience of the new worlds which are shaped by the unpredictable changes in life.
