The Rise Insight: Welcome to The Rise Insight, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.

Author Navi Sathya: Thanks. Yes, successfully the book was launched on 14 Aug 2021. Some of my friends and others have bought the book. They are reading the novel currently. Few those who have completed reading, given a positive feedback about the theme and the spine chilling experience they had. It is nice to hear such comments and it’s encouraging. I am expecting more reviews in the coming weeks as it is in progress.

The Rise Insight: What encourages you to become an Author?

Author Navi Sathya: My passion in Astronomy. I have always wanted to register the thoughts about space. Instead of just writing the content bluntly, an idea popped up to deliver it as a novel and thereby insert the message that I wanted to convey. Slowly as the time progresses, the plot emerged as a full novel script.

The Rise Insight: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature.

Author Navi Sathya: My scope of interest falls under thriller, mystery and science fiction genre. These are the preferred areas that I pick.

The Rise Insight: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!

Author Navi Sathya: I read limited books so my inspiration is also the same. I love to read Dan Brown books and read many of his works. Even though I don’t have any specific inspired author , I’ve admired the work of other authors as well who has well presented their story with cognizance and interest.

The Rise Insight: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.

Author Navi Sathya: Initially I thought of having a different title. After exploring few about it, came to know that similar kind of title is already exists. So, I decided to go with the one which shall stand unique and grasp the attention of the readers for a moment. It should trigger the curiosity. Suddenly, the present title thwacked me in my mind. After a careful consideration, I choose this title as it is also relevant to the story theme.

The Rise Insight: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Author Navi Sathya: I am a debut author. So, I don’t have any substantial achievements in my path so far. But as a debut author, I think, writing a novel and publishing it in a proper form in a forum itself an achievement. There are a lot of process and difficulty that one must go through to make this happen. So, I am glad with publishing my first book.

The Rise Insight: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Author Navi Sathya: I never planned and executed my book- Apocalypse in 2050. It just happened. In fact, I never ever thought that I would write a book one day. I would better say, the time has brought things together. I think it has made me an author today. So, I don’t like to keep plans about my next book (if any). If the appropriate time comes and if I feel that I can make another sound novel, you can find my book in stores.

The Rise Insight: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Author Navi Sathya: As mentioned, this is my first work. I am currently focusing on the reach of my novel- Apocalpse in 2050. This is my prime focus now. Currently, not involved in any other projects.

The Rise Insight: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Author Navi Sathya: Obviously. As the period changes, so does the concept and style. I’ve read books of few authors published decades earlier. Compared to that, the present way of scripting a book is disparate. As the society changes dractically, the challenges and experience we encounter also changes. And, we need to adopt in our modern lifestyle and present our work accordingly which shall satiate the readers.

The Rise Insight: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

Author Navi Sathya: It took less than six months for me to complete the novel. But it took six more months for publishing. So, one can understand how complex the publishing is. There could be many publishers in the market but to find the right one matching your criteria and expectations are arduous. As a message/suggestion, I would recommend the new authors to carefully analyze the publishers and pick the one which you think is ideal for you and your work. This might take time but worthy.
